Jonas Stringer has been working with SEP for several years, initially cutting his teeth with one to one tuition. Once the young boy who features in John's picture (see above), he is now a fully-fledged tutor with a great understanding of the skills needed to pass the 11+.
He is our most recent tutor to pass the 11+ (in 2014) and has been at Bishops ever since, where he has just finished his A levels. Both at Bishops and with SEP, Jonas fine-tuned his leadership skills and is used to dealing with large groups of 11+ aged children and keeping classes of up to 32 engaged and informed. Much like his brain, his teaching style combines the best of both his parents' differing styles making his classes both fun (Dad) and productive (Mum)! |

Hugh Vivian kindly stepped in to hold the fort when John had a traumatic brain injury in 2020. He took to the job so well and his style was so enjoyed by students that we persuaded him to carry on even when John returned to work. He has an MA in HR Development and now has a company that helps adults with performance development. He has a real passion in 'getting the best out of people'.
