Register to Invigilate

For the majority of the time invigilators can just sit and read a book but are ready just in case a child is ill or a riot kicks off. We like to ask parents as it can be a useful experience for them.

If you are first aid trained, that is always useful. If you are familiar with St Mark's that might also be handy. We are very much a child-centred organisation, so being good with children is another plus. We do ask that you are DBS checked with an up-to-date certificate that you can email us a photo of.

A lot of the work with mock exams happens afterwards and if you are good at data entry, we are very happy to pay you extra to input answers into a spreadsheet for marking and analysis. You won't be seeing any scores, so we hope the children's privacy is protected.

Mock exams last about 3 hours for a GL exam and 2 hours 20 mins for a CEM exam. To help with timings, experience and transport, we will ask parents of boy candidates to invigilate a CEM exam and a similar thing for the girls' exam. If you invigilate we will not charge you the £40 cost of the exam and give you free detailed reports.

If you are happy to be added to our list of potential invigilators, please fill in this form:
