Progress for GL Assessment Exam

Exam technique is not as critical for this exam as it is for the CEM Exam. The papers are quite long and so if your child spends too long on a question, your daughter will normally have plenty of time to catch up. Exam technique is not as crucial, but it can still make a big difference. Observing your daughter during a practice paper can highlight some areas where they are not getting scores that they are capable of.
  • Did they spend too long on any questions?
  • Did they not read the questions carefully enough?
  • Did they leave some boxes blank?
  • Did they do everything in their heads with few workings out?
  • When they finished with time to spare, did they go back and look at the questions they had marked as worth looking at again, if time?
If you submit your answers for the various mini-tests we provide you with a standardised score so that you can learn how they are performing compare to their peers.

The mini-tests are either included in the week's worksheets or can be found in the online drive in a folder called Progress. You can use the usual link to get to the online drive. The link can be found on the front page of the worksheets.
